HPE: My experience at the NimbleStorage Connect User Groups, includes Slides and videos about Veeam’s Storage integration

19th October 2018 - Written in: veeam

Greetings friends, I have been lucky enough to attend two of the three NimbleStorage Connect User Groups that have been held in the UK, the three cities chosen were Manchester, Bristol and London, in my case I have attended and presented in Bristol and Manchester.

I have to thank the HPE people for inviting Veeam to these User Groups to have the opportunity to talk about the integration of Veeam and Nimble Storage, especially Nick Dyer, a fireproof Nimble Storage since its inception.

Some images of the NimbleStorage Connect User Groups

In this tweet we can see the room in Bristol, with a full house and a luxurious location, we had the opportunity to see many interesting presentations, Roadmap of NimbleStorage and live demos of InfoSight:

Today we kicked off our Manchester #NimbleStorage User Group! A full room of customers learning about recent & future #NimbleOS software & hardware features 👍🏻

In London we had a massive attendance, with another absolute full room, in which I was lucky to see that 90% of attendees were already using Veeam together with Nimble Storage, so my presentation was more about good practices:

@Nick_Dyer_ Breaking the morning with a full house at HPE User Group in London, amazing HPE Customer Care offices. I am here today to show how @Veeam does integrate with whole HPE portfolio, from 3PAR and Nimble back to HPE StoreOnce, great! pic.twitter.com/hcjzRNdLV4

Veeam slides presented in the NimbleStorage Connect User Groups

I leave you the slides I present during the event, they show why it is important to make backups from Storage Snapshots, and the advantages of being able to use Storage Snapshots to recover files and elements from them:

At the same time, I leave a playlist with nine videos that I have created showing the steps for integration with HPE NimbleStorage:
